2. Ashley Long, Lutterworth Cycle Centre - 21 mins 25 seconds

5. Jim Silver, Lutterworth Cycle Centre - 23 mins 00 seconds

Held on Saturday 21st April 2001 on the Seagrave Course this Central District Ladies promotion attracted 95 entries on what was one of the most pleasant afternoons of the year so far, despite a nagging wind.

A very closely fought contest between our own Ashley Long and Geoff Platts of Team Clean saw Geoff just reversing last weeks result of their contest in The Leicestershire Road Club Hilly. Ashley continues his run of fine form with this great result.

Our other rider in this event, Jim Silver, continues to improve this season with every ride and dropping down in distance this week he produced a very pleasing 23 minutes dead to take fifth place.
