Russ is 35 years old, team leader and owner of Lutterworth Cycle Centre.
He was once a competitive gymnast competing at National level at venues as far afield as Hong Kong, China, Israel and Africa. He outgrew the apparatus and found an avenue for his energies in cycling. He has competed in all branches of the sport including track, road and time trial both on solo and tandem. Since the demise of Leicester track he has missed his sojourns into solo and tandem sprinting!
His love of cycling and anything mechanical saw him working in a local cycle shop before setting up his own business at Lutterworth Cycle Centre - he has now been in the cycle trade for 18 years.
When he can find time to train there is nothing that he likes better than competing with other members of the team in road races and time trials.
